Living through a pandemic and social distancing, I re-discovered a desire for fresh air. With my project “Kured Future”, I aimed to investigate relationships between myself and the outside. Starting from my heritage, the Austrian practice of Kur, and spanning to questions of Weltanschauung, I have studied my perception of the earthly environment through intuitive painting, weaving and knitting. Looking at others before me perceiving and continuing to perceive their surroundings in non-normative ways has convinced me that I need to change the way I interact with the outside.
